Very Tall Ceilings

Marva Don’s client reached out to her for assistance because she was dissatisfied with the ambiance of her newly built home and longed for a warm, welcoming and polished design. Extremely tall ceilings can be a unique and beautiful architectural feature, but they require thoughtful design and planning to make the space comfortable and visually appealing.

Project Overview:

To address her client’s concerns, Marva Don harnessed the potential of the stunning two-story windows, seamlessly integrating them into the main floor living area. The goal was to create an open-concept design while still providing distinct definition to the kitchen, dining and great room spaces.

This was achieved by strategically introducing beautiful area rugs and elegant window treatments. The addition of plush upholstered chairs, carefully selected artwork, and tasteful accessories lent an exquisite touch to the entire home. In doing so, we not only met but exceeded the homeowner’s request for a thoughtfully appointed living space that exudes warmth and sophistication.
