A Tranquil Retreat

Project Overview:

Marva Don’s client requested a peaceful, tranquil bedroom with a Zen resort feel to promote healing. Everything was replaced from the flooring and paint, to the custom furniture and window treatments.

This transitional primary bedroom invites you to relax and meditate with its soothing sea glass palette. Crisp white stationary panels accented with a sandy embroidered trim frame the windows that have pretty white shades.

A custom padded bed sits against lovely wallpaper with textured waves reminiscent of the client’s favorite place — Hawaii.

A seating area was created with custom upholstered swivel chairs and custom benches at the foot of the bed which can act as footrests for the chairs. A low-pile area rug anchors the space.

Palm tree art and a whimsical sea bird lamp completes this luxury spa-like bedroom.
